I presented “What Comes After Welcome Home” at Peace United Church of Christ in Fall Creek, Wisconsin, tonight. I’d like to say a big “thank you” to all the people in Eau Claire County who have made the last few days a great success. A special thank you goes to Clifton Sorenson, the Veterans Service Officer in Eau Claire County, who does so much to help veterans; to the members of Peace UCC for their warm welcome; to all those who came to the presentation; to Wally for his great coffee and fabulous oatmeal cookies; and to Jeanny House, pastor of Peace UCC

We loved having you at Peace UCC!! Thank you so much for sharing your story and for helping us learn what we might begin to do to turn “Welcome home” into more than just a sentiment to put on a banner at a party.
